The story behind the image:
Betting on us. When we’re young and in love, we secretly believe it will last forever. We doodle hearts on foggy windows, etching our names alongside those of our beloveds. Over time, we learn that love doesn’t always work out that way, and life brings us different loves, each in its own season. But sometimes, you find the one.
When my husband and I started dating, I was certain he was the love of my life. Eleven years later, I still feel the same. We made the conscious choice not to have children—a decision we both wholeheartedly support. Yet, there are moments when that choice feels vulnerable. Without a physical legacy to tie us together, our love is the only thread that binds us.
