The cracks were barely visible at first, now they run long and deep. Wooden floorboards creak and bend gently. Traces of forgotten footsteps are ingrained in the stone floors.
These tranquil locations are almost completely cut off from the outside world. Light Spots are the only connection, but they just emphasize the void. Once the rooms were filled with life, now they are abandoned and have fallen into disrepair.
It’s the sense of temporality that makes the desire to live so intense.
When I experienced this, standing still became much more valuable.
